Man lights self on fire in southeast Charlotte parking lot, police say

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and Charlotte Fire Department are investigating after a man lit himself on fire Monday night in the Windstream parking lot in southeast Charlotte.

Crews taped off the parking lot located at Monroe Road and Sardis Road North.

Authorities do not know if he intentionally set himself on fire.
