Man sought in connection with 15 home break-ins in south Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — There have been 15 home break-ins since May 30 in the Myers Park, Eastover, and Cotswold neighborhoods between 12 a.m. and 6 a.m., Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.

In many of the cases, residents were home at the time of the crime.

The burglars got inside home through unlocked doors and windows in more than half of the break-ins.

They also stole vehicles from three of the homes.

Police are searching for a man who was seen on surveillance video using a credit card stolen from one of the homes.
