• Man runs off with customer's cash at Chester BB&T branch


    CHESTER, S.C. - Police in Chester County are looking for the man they said robbed a bank customer Friday morning.

    Officers said that the customer was entering the BB&T branch on Saluda Street around 11:30 a.m. when the thief snatched their banking bag filled with an undisclosed amount of money and took off.

    The suspect is described as a tall, slender black man wearing dark blue jeans and a puffy camouflage jacket with a hood.
