IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. - Iredell County detectives said a man tried to sell a boat without providing titles of ownership.
The victim reported to detectives that he paid Seth Bloom, the owner of Monster Marine, $35,624 for a 2008 Sunsetter Boat and a 2014 EZ Load trailer. Bloom did not provide the buyer with the titles of ownership to the boat or the trailer.
Detectives charged Bloom with obtaining property by false pretense. Bloom was arrested on Wednesday and given a $15,000 bond.
His court date has not been released yet.
