PINEVILLE, N.C. — Police in Pineville are looking for a man they said held up a Pineville convenience store and stole several cartons of cigarettes early Wednesday morning.
Investigators said a man wearing hoodie and blue gloves, possibly medical gloves, came into the Sam’s Mart on Johnston Road around 6 a.m. armed with a long gun.
He demanded cartons of cigarettes before running away.
Nobody was hurt.
A K-9 unit was brought to the scene but no arrests have been made.
