MATTHEWS - Rain did not stop people from heading to a local farmers market for its grand reopening.
The Matthews Farmers Market reopened Saturday since it was damaged during this year’s winter storm.
The snow destroyed some tents, but organizers say customer support helped them get the market back up and running.
This is the 23rd season for the farmers market.
