CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Pat McCrory filed a complaint with the FCC in the North Carolina governor's race.
He's asking the FCC to pull a political ad that McCrory claims is false, and violating federal laws.
The ad alleges McCrory was paid to sit on a company's board and lobbied for tax breaks for them, all while serving as Charlotte's mayor. Click here to see a press release about the ad, and click here to see a response to McCrory.
McCrory's camp says it's not true, and that the ad hides who is paying for it. Click here to see the response from McCrory's camp.
