HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Police had to block a busy road in Huntersville Wednesday morning because of deadly head-on crash.
Paramedics said one person died after being pinned beneath a tractor-trailer on Alexandriana Road, near North Mecklenburg High School.
MEDIC took another person to Carolinas Medical Center with serious injuries.
Alexandriana Road was closed between Statesville Road and Mount Holly-Huntersville Road as police investigated the crash.
The Huntersville police chief told Channel 9 no students were involved in the crash.
Details surrounding the incident were not immediately available.
