CHARLOTTE — Someone was shot in west Charlotte on Saturday morning, according to MEDIC.
It happened around 5:15 a.m. in the 2800 block of Crisman Street, located just off Freedom Drive.
Google Maps shows multiple restaurants like McDonalds and Showmars in that block. Channel 9′s photographer at the scene saw CMPD officers taping off the area by Roadwayz School of Instruction and CMPD Crime Scene investigators putting down markers.

MEDIC said they took one person to the emergency room.
Channel 9 asked CMPD what led to the violence.
