CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Autopsy results released Thursday show a Charlotte toddler died from abuse that investigators believe he suffered.
Travis Pemberton is facing murder charges for his son's death earlier this year, which family members originally said was due to a stomach virus.
The coroner said Jackobie Morgan had blunt force injuries to his abdomen.
Investigators said the child also suffered a broken spine.
