ROCK HILL, S.C. — The York County Sheriff's Office said an 82-year-old woman who disappeared Friday after leaving a health care facility in Rock Hill has been found safe.
Deputies said Joan Horton Byrdic was visiting a family member at PruittHealth along Herlong Avenue when she left to go to Hardee's around 4 p.m.
Byrdic was missing for several hours Friday, but officials said she was found safe around midnight Saturday.
