MONROE, N.C. - Monroe city leaders voted to let an a troubled sports complex expand.
IASO Sports has had a long list of zoning violation and the owner said he's learned from his mistakes and wants to make upgrades for the community.
Some city leaders didn't want it to happen because records show he's had 21 violations over the past seven years.
