More passengers travel through Charlotte airport



CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte Douglas airport is having a strong start to the year based on passenger numbers.
A new report shows 3.5 million people went through the airport in January.
That's up from 3.2 million people last January.
That's a 6.5 percent jump.
Airport leaders say they also saw more people flying abroad.
