CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Myers Park statue that was knocked over in a car crash is no longer at the intersection.
The city took the Hugh McManaway statue away from the corner of Queens and Providence roads on Tuesday.
A spokesperson said it will be repaired and put back, but didn't say when.
Cory Pierce is accused of running into the statue last week.
