NC roads to have increased patrols

NORTH CAROLINA — In the next few weeks, North Carolina roads will see an increase in law enforcement patrols.

The "Booze It and Lose It" campaign has already started.

Last year, more than 3,600 people were charged with DWI.

There were 950 crashes and 44 people were killed across the state.

Booze It and Lose It runs through Jan. 2.
