RALEIGH, N.C. - North Carolina didn't receive any bids on eBay for its state-owned helicopter.
But the Department of Transportation isn't giving up.
The state decided to sell the chopper after Eyewitness News uncovered it only logged 15 hours last year.
The state set a $1.5 million opening bid for the helicopter, but no one met the asking price before the eBay auction closed Monday.
A governor spokesman said the DOT is relisting the chopper on eBay.
If it doesn't sell, the agency will continue to pursue options to sell it.
