Nearly 135,000 people take advantage of early voting so far

NORTH CAROLINA — On Sunday, new numbers are in on those who took advantage of early voting in Mecklenburg County.

Another 13,000 people cast their ballots, bringing the total to nearly 135,000 total early voters.

The last day to vote early is next Saturday.

Officials expect 70 percent of voters to cast their ballots before Election Day.
