Man identified in deadly Rock Hill shooting

ROCK HILL, S.C. — Police have identified the victim in a deadly Rock Hill shooting. 28-year-old Ladarrus Crawford was shot and killed outside an apartment complex Thursday night.

Autopsy and toxicology results are pending.

Police are looking for the gunman who shot and killed Crawford late Thursday night outside an apartment complex in Rock Hill.

Officers were called to the Lucas Street Apartments around 9 p.m. and found the victim.

According to the police report, the victim’s girlfriend told officers that her boyfriend had walked outside to put something in a vehicle when she heard one gunshot. A few seconds later, her boyfriend came back inside the apartment and collapsed on the floor.

This marks the fourth homicide in Rock Hill this year and no other details about the crime have been released.
