MIDLAND, N.C. — Firefighters battled flames and smoke at a Cabarrus County home early Friday morning.
Crews were called to the house on Sterling Circle in Midland around 2:30 a.m.
Officials told Channel 9 that seven people lived in the home but that nobody was hurt.
Fire investigators are working to figure out what caused the fire but believe it started on the roof.
