Nobody injured in Ballantyne school bus crash, officials say

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Emergency crews were on the scene of a school bus crash in Ballantyne early Monday morning.

The collision happened around 6:30 a.m. on Providence Road West and Lancaster Highway.

Officials said 19 students were on the bus but that nobody was hurt.

The bus, No. 494, was headed to Ardrey Kell High School, and the students on board were picked up by another bus and continued to school.

It was still unclear how the wreck happened.
