North Carolina father accuses daycare of scrubbing son's skin raw

RALEIGH, N.C. — A North Carolina father wants charges filed against his son's day care after he said an employee scrubbed the boy’s face raw.

Images shared by the father Agustin Luna show the boy with red marks and even cuts on his face.

Luna said it happened last week at a day care outside Raleigh when a worker tried to wipe marker off his son’s face.

He said the worker didn't stop, even when his child cried in pain.

“She was holding me. She was holding me in my arm and I told her to stop. I told her that it was hurting me. And she say, 'No, stop crying,’" said the boy.

The family said the day care worker called to apologize.

The owners of the center didn't comment other than to say they believe the worker never meant any harm.
