P.F. Chang's Northlake location on list of security breaches

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Chinese restaurant P.F. Chang's released a new list Monday showing 33 locations were part of a security breach.

One of the locations is at Northlake Mall in Charlotte.

Customers who went to the P.F. Chang's on Perimeter Parkway between Oct. 19 and Oct. 26 of last year may have had their credit and debit card information stolen.

The Secret Service alerted the restaurant back in June about the breach.

P.F. Chang's said the investigation into how the information was stolen is still ongoing.

It may identify other locations and dates where data was compromised.

Anyone who thinks their personal information is at risk should ask their bank or credit card company for a new card and new account number.

They should also keep a close eye on their financial statements or contact the three credit bureaus.

P.F. Chang's guests can also have the credit bureaus place a fraud alert on their files, which alerts creditors to take additional steps to verify their identity.
