CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A child was struck by a car at about 5 p.m. Friday in the 7100 block of Idlewild Road, officials said.
The child was taken to the hospital but the condition of the patient was not released.
No further information has been released.
Chopper 9 flew over the scene where there was a car roped off with crime tape.
