IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. - Officials believe a man arrested in Iredell County may have targeted homeowners in as many as nine counties.
Richard Farrant was charged with obtaining property under false pretense.
Officials with the Better Business Bureau said Farrant represented himself as an energy auditor and sold people energy conserving products that he never delivered.
The BBB said Farrant owns four companies. Most have an F rating.
