Officials: Overturned tanker spills thousands of gallons of fuel

LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — An overturned tanker truck shut down Highway 97 on Friday morning.

The wreck happened near Green Road in Lancaster County. The county fire marshal said thousands of gallons of gas spilled from the tanker that flipped.

Clean-up crews were on scene as Chopper 9 Skyzoom flew overhead. Reporter Greg Suskin was on site the cleanup would take most of the day.
