Officials respond to fatal accident in Mint Hill

Mint Hill Fire Department responded to a fatal accident Saturday on Highway 218 past Olde Sycamore Drive.

Neighbors said there have been a lot of accidents in the area and that there should be a stop light.

“We feel really sad that this has happened today,” neighbor John Muir said. “Like I said, I know a lot of people are inconvenienced, can't get home, but in the scheme of things, the fact that somebody lost their life is terrible."
