Organization to provide free dental care during uptown event

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — On Friday, the North Carolina Missions of Mercy will kick off its free dental care event in uptown.

Thousands of people are expected to turn out for the free check-ups.

The clinic runs from 6 a.m. Friday until 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Charlotte Convention Center on College Street.
