SHELBY, N.C. - Investigators were working to figure out what started a fire that gutted a Shelby restaurant overnight.
Police were responding to a call about a possible burglar alarm at the Taste-T drive-in on Marion Street around 11:45 p.m. Tuesday, but they found the restaurant on fire when they arrived.
Nobody was hurt and the fire marshal is looking for the cause.
