CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis took some young football players on a surprise shopping spree at Dick's Sporting Goods on Pineville-Matthews Road.
The 10 kids were part of Davis' football camp. Coaches picked them for the $100 shopping spree as a reward for their hard work.
Davis puts on the free football camp as part of his Defending Dreams Foundation.
"Me growing up as a young kid and never being able to participate in a football camp just being able to do that for these kids means the world to me,” Davis said.
