Panthers wide receiver helps provide Thanksgiving turkeys at Boys and Girls Club

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — On the field, Curtis Samuel is a playmaker.

Off the field, the Panthers wide receiver made the day of dozens of local children and helped make sure their families have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Samuel joined forces with Harris Teeter and Second Harvest Food Bank to provide turkey dinners to 75 families at the Milton Road Boys and Girls Club.

"I love doing this. As a football player, it's not just for me to go out there and perform on the field. It's also to give back to the community and the great city of Charlotte," Samuel said.

This is the second year Samuel has been a part of the Thanksgiving outreach.
