CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police arrested several people after they were accused of breaking into someone's home, stabbing them and then stealing their car.
Officers said it happened around 2 p.m. at a house on Barringer Drive, across the street from Revolution Park.
Channel 9 spoke with a woman who was playing with her son there at the time. She said the brazen crime was a real eye-opener.
“Me being new to the area, I really want to observe everything and watch my surroundings and keep my kid close,” Autumn Woods said.
Police said that shortly after they found the homeowner suffering from a stab wound, they arrested several suspects.
No names have been released and there's no word what charges they're facing.
