MATTHEWS, N.C. - A woman hit by a car in Matthews has died from her injuries.
Officials said Tiffany Jennings was hit while walking at the intersection of Matthews Township Parkway and Sam Newell Road on Saturday night.
Channel 9 spoke with a driver in the area Sunday night and she said the intersection is dangerous.
“"You wonder what can we do to stop it and to make everything safer and things like that," Jessica Harris said.
Harris said she was involved in a separate accident in the same spot on Sunday.
Police said the driver in the accident will not face charges.
