A pedestrian was struck and killed by a car on East Independence Boulevard Sunday morning, police said.
The driver of the car did not leave the scene.
Police said Santiago Leon was crossing at the intersection of East Independence Boulevard and Idlewild Road where there is no crosswalk.
Police said Leon ran across the street directly in the path of the driver.
No charges have been filed.
