KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — Police said a 13-year-old was seriously hurt after being hit by a car overnight in Kannapolis.
Authorities were called around 1:30 a.m. to Coventry Road and Oakwood Avenue.
There is no word yet on charges against the driver but police said the driver remained at the scene after the collision.
The name of the teenager has not been released.
