CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured overnight into Saturday in uptown Charlotte, officials said.
Officials with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said the incident happened near the intersection of Sixth Street and North Tryon Street.
MEDIC said the pedestrian was taken to Carolinas Medical Center to be treated for life-threatening injuries.
Channel 9 is asking authorities what led to the crash. The name of the victim has not been released.
