Person hospitalized after being struck by vehicle in north Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle Monday night on Eastway Drive near Curtiswood Lane in north Charlotte, officials said.

The incident happened near the light rail.

The person was taken to Atrium-Main with life-threatening injuries.

No further information was released.
