Matthews physician assistant's license to be revoked after sex crimes conviction

MATTHEWS, N.C. — The North Carolina Medical Board plans to revoke a physician assistant's license because of her conviction on sex crimes with a minor.

Kim Latterner of Matthews pleaded guilty in September and will spend at least 16 months in prison.

The case involved a 15-year-old boy.

The medical board sent Latterner a letter that outlines plans to revoke her license unless she requests a hearing within 60 days.
