Police: 2 men sold heroin near Kannapolis preschool

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — Two men are charged with selling heroin at a house near an Cabarrus County preschool, police said.

Benji and Darron Hamby were arrested on Sloop Avenue in Kannapolis Monday.

The Independent Tribune reported the house is across from a church that runs a preschool program.

There are extra charges in drug busts near schools.
