Police: 5 arrested in Stanly Co. meth lab bust

STANFIELD, N.C. — Five people are behind bars after police busted a meth lab in Stanly County Thursday.

Officers were on scene in hazardous material suits at the home on Oak Leaf Lane in Stanfield all night.

Steven Kemp, David Kemp, Brenda Kemp, Justin Morton and Natalie Butler were all taken into custody Thursday night.

Police said the meth lab bust was part of a month long investigation.
