CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police said a driver hit an apartment in north Charlotte overnight and then ran away.
The crash happened around 12:30 a.m. on Parkwood Avenue.
Officers said the driver hit a tree and the corner of the apartment, but no one was hurt.
Police couldn't find the driver or anyone in the apartment and witnesses told officers they saw two people running from the scene.
