CHARLOTTE, N.C. - A guardrail kept a driver from going over a bridge in north Charlotte.
The accident happened just around 7 p.m. Thursday on Oaklawn Avenue above Interstate 77.
MEDIC said it took the driver to the hospital, with potentially life-threatening injuries.
Police are investigating the cause of the wreck.
