HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Police in two local cities are investigating separate cell phone store break-ins overnight.
Officers in Huntersville said the AT&T store on Knockando Lane was targeted, while police in Concord were investigating a break-in at the Sprint store on Concord Mills Boulevard.
The crimes happened just minutes apart, the first in Concord, when police said thieves broke through the glass front door.
Officers were working to get surveillance video from the store.
In Huntersville, detectives think the burglar used a chair to break through a side window.
They said the suspect was wearing a mask and gloves.
Police are still looking for the person responsible in both cases.
