CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating after a shooting sent one man to the hospital in northeast Charlotte.
The shooting happened just before midnight Tuesday outside a home on Cove Creek Drive.
Officials said the victim has serious injuries, but is expected to be OK.
Police said the victim knew the person who shot him. Officers have identified the suspect, but have not arrested him yet.
No other information has been released at this time.
