CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Police in Charlotte are investigating two early Sunday morning wrecks on the Brookshire Freeway, and trying to determine if they are connected to a reported carjacking.
Officers said that several cars were involved in a
hit-and-run between 3 and 4 a.m. Sunday, and they are still looking for the driver who took off.
Medic said that three people were taken to the hospital from one of the wrecks on Interstate 277 and Independence Boulevard, all with non-life-threatening injuries.
