Police investigate after four break-ins in four days in Plaza-Midwood

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating four break-ins in four days in a Charlotte neighborhood.

Eyewitness News spoke Thursday with families who live in Plaza-Midwood. They said the community is typically safe, but now they'll just be more cautious.

"(We will) keep our eyes out on the streets a little closer, and watch our neighbors. The good thing is, the density here is pretty high. People are fairly close to each other, there are a lot of people with dogs walking their dogs at night," said Dan Putnam.

Channel 9 asked the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department if the crimes are connected to recent break-ins in the North Davidson area, but investigators said they're not sure.
