Suspected north Charlotte bank robber caught

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have caught the man who they said robbed a First Citizens Bank Thursday morning.

Andre Pierre was taken into custody just hours after police said he robbed the bank on Mallard Creek Road.

The FBI released surveillance photos of a black man with a beard, wearing a hat and sunglasses.

Nobody was injured in the robbery.

Police have not released the man's name yet.
