CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are asking for the public's help in finding 16-year-old Ayanna Hatcher.
The teenager has been diagnosed with cognitive issues and there is some concern for her safety and well-being.
Hatcher was reported missing Sept. 16. She was last seen on Faulconbridge Road, off of Albemarle Road, in east Charlotte.

She was last seen wearing an orange and red scarf wrapped around her hair in a bun, a black tank top, beige leggings with black tribal print and carrying a pink backpack.
Hatcher was seen Saturday walking alone in uptown Charlotte, near East 7th Street at North McDowell Street. She was wearing red denim shorts and a multicolored shirt.
Anyone who sees or has information about Hatcher is asked to call 911. People can also call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
