HICKORY, N.C. - Police are trying to determine whether a church break-in in Hickory is linked to a half dozen other cases in the area.
Police said someone stole the Sunday offerings from the Temple Baptist Church in southeast Hickory Wednesday morning.
A church member found a broken window and the church's office ransacked, according to officers.
Last fall, police investigated several similar church break-ins but never made an arrest in the cases.
