Police look for man who flashed woman near uptown

Police are looking for a man who they said exposed and then fondled himself in front of a woman in a Charlotte neighborhood. 

A 24-year-old woman told investigators she was walking to work on Brevard Street outside uptown Wednesday around 8 a.m. and that's when the man approached her. 

She told police he didn't say anything but pulled down his pants and began fondling himself.

The woman ran to a nearby apartment building and called 911.

A man who lives at the complex told Channel 9 police searched nearby woods but didn't find the man.

The woman wasn't hurt.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
