Police looking for 2 men in north Charlotte Bojangles robbery

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police is asking for the public's assistance in identifying two suspected robbers who held up a Bojangles Monday night.

Police said two men approached an employee at the restaurant on Highland Shoppes Drive after he had just closed the business for the night and was sitting in his vehicle.

The robbers took the employee's phone and forced him back into the restaurant in an attempt to rob the business.

Police said they were unable to steal any property and fled on foot.

The first robber is described as a black man with long dreads and all black clothes. He was covering his face with a cloth, police said.

Police described the second robber as a heavyset black man with dreads, wearing long khaki cargo shorts and a black shirt.
